If you’ve ever found yourself lonely while on the road – have I got the movie for you!

I got mostly what I expected here. A solid B movie with more jump scares than you can flash your high-beams at. A really fun deconstruction of the recently popular van culture and exploration of society’s degradation through the lens of no longer being able to pick up hitchhikers or stop to help someone on the side of the road. Too deep for this page? I hope not. That’s what I love about the horror genre. It’s ability to make even the deepest, darkest reflections of society palatable to the masses, giving us an opportunity to self-reflect and maybe grow from them.

Anyways – this is a solid watch if you’re looking for a scary flick you don’t have to think too much about.
