I haven’t played the games or seen the other movies, so don’t be worried about that here. It still hits just as well. An unbelievable apocalyptic clusterfuck put to film with a tight hour and a half run time. Just enough of a video game feel without getting goofy… just enough humor to break the tension. Perfectly balanced execution of a niche genre that hasn’t been attempted in a hot minute. I had a fun time with this one!
