Uh… this one hit a little too close to home. I laughed my ass off, but there was a strong sense of “yikes, this is a documentary.” Pure Mike Judge. Pure genius.

He may be known as the charcuterie “board lord” by most. Still, he’s also pretty damn good at picking up on everything we as a society have been trying to process and work through for the past year and present it perfectly to help us laugh at the absurdity of the things we sometimes take too seriously, and find some common ground with each other as an audience. Socially distanced, of course! Great timing, great material, a fantastic half-hour of laughing your ass off.
🚨Definitely Not For Children🚨
Also, kind of cool the link is the full show. Not just a teaser… Enjoy!

Sleeper hit from the 80’s. Solid JV squad film.
Brother is a total creep, good lord. Just a walking red flag. Teri tries out life as a guy after getting shot down as a girl for her dream job. Learns things aren’t always as they seem, falls in love. The usual.
Billy Zabka plays the bad guy with perfect hair. Pure 80’s.

Much better than expected!
The nostalgia of a classic 80s slasher flick, the scares of “American Horror Story.” Much more heart than I expected from a horror story. A nice twist on the horror genre. Likely trying to ride the coattails of “Happy Death Day,” but I’ll allow it.

Jedi Warriors? Tax dollars well spent!
One of George Clooney’s all-time great performances.
One of my all-time sleeper hit movies.
What seems like an incredibly juvenile fantasy turns out to contain innumerable kernels of wisdom if you’re willing to give yourself over to it—cinematic spiritual enlightenment at its finest. On my Mount Rushmore along with JAWS and Hot Tub Time Machine.
Also, you can’t go wrong with any track on the soundtrack. They all rock, and they all transport your spirit to the exact right spot to receive the film’s full impact.
