Best described as a fever dream after watching, as I struggle to fully describe what it is I watched. IT was fun, and definitely punk rock. Normal dinnertime conversation around the table in America, right?

Definite Stephen King and definitely more brutal than I expected. I didn’t expect quite so much blood… A really good psychological thriller from the master, with a great cast all turning in noteworthy performances. Solid kickstart to horror season for 2025.

How they seamlessly patched together such a solid romantic comedy with a slasher, I’ll never know… but here we are! It was so adorable and then so abhorrent, and then back. I couldn’t believe how intense it got in some sequences, or how hard I laughed at others. Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding’s chemistry is ELECTRIC, which really helps this thing cook. A perfect date-night movie with your arm candy… even if it’s a popcorn bucket.

Didn’t expect this one to be quite THIS good. I’ll be damned, it was a solid action thriller! And Beast Mode can act! A pretty standard story, but some of the tightest action and fight scenes you’ll see on the big screen this year. Definitely can tell it’s the same team as “Nobody.” If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…

They’re not lying, it stops once they hit their stride… which I found to be an odd choice. Nonetheless, this documentary includes some really sweet moments with the members of the band reminiscing and seeing/hearing some things for the first time since living the moments. The music is of course amazing, but the story seemed to just kind of stop. It’s solid, but I’d still rather watch one of their concert films or listen to one of their soundboard bootlegs.
