FINALLY! This isn’t buried on a streaming service no one dare uses! (Sorry, Not Sorry YouTube Red)

This one definitely swept the leg of my heart. There’s not an aspect of this show I haven’t fallen in love with. The soundtrack kicks ass. The characters develop a great depth and complexity, and we get a fresh take on a classic that breathes new life into the franchise. I never thought that Johnny Lawrence would become a sympathetic character, but it just speaks to the phenomenal acting chops of Billy Zabka. You can really tell that the actors enjoyed revisiting these characters and coming back for this project. Pure fun and nostalgia, injected straight into the viewers veins. I’m here for it!

Samara Weaving’s audition tape for “Ready or Not.” A cross between zombie film and “The Belko Experiment.” A solid purge-style blood soaked kill fest film. Very dated dialogue, but it just adds to the film’s charm in my opinion.

Pure 80’s. You can’t greenlight this without a Scarface sized pile of cocaine coursing through your veins. It’s a thing of beauty. More quips than a Marvel movie. Cheesy special effects. Turn your brain off and enjoy.

“The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard”

Ari Gold selling cars. Supported by an all-star cast. Too many high profile comedy actors to count. A solid script that feels like it was lit on fire very early on to make way for “just roll the camera and let the improv fly.” Short, sweet, and to the point. Just like this movie.

And… since they play it to roll the credits, it gives me an excuse to play one of my favorite 38 Special songs. Rock on.

“Doc Hollywood”

Aside Marty McFly, this is a role that Michael J. Fox was born to play…

A newbie doctor on his way to live a live full of glitz and glamour in Hollywood is instead seduced by the charm of life in small town America. Doesn’t hurt that he (of course) falls in love along the way. A surprisingly strong supporting cast really shines in this one, elevating what could have disappeared into the ether as a simple popcorn flick into a cinematic classic. Woody Harrelson and Julie Warner in particular really play well off of Fox as the film rolls on.
