Solid superhero film from DC. The tone feels more “Suicide Squad” than “Dark Knight” or “Joker,” but it works. Margot Robbie fully comes into her own as the character, and really starts to embrace the chaos and take over the screen. Everyone in the film really seemed to enjoy playing the off the wall characters, which really comes across. Solid standalone. She’s Harley F**king Quinn, and she’s here to party!

Finally caved after seeing enough commercials at the theater, and binged in a week and a half. Loved EVERY SECOND of it! The wittiest comedy/drama this side of “The West Wing,” bravo to the cast and creator on creating such an immersive and entertaining world. The interconnecting stories involving such effortlessly rich characters had me hooked 10 minutes into the first episode. Dialogue so rich and dense, yet so rapid fire… just wow. The set designs and cinematography are gorgeous. A masterpiece that fires on all cylinders. Didn’t expect to love this as much as I have, and can’t wait for season 4!

As far as sequels go… damn. That was a fun 2 hour ride! The cast returns with just the right amount of differentiation from the first, just the right amount of laughs to heart. There’s a needle to thread with follow-up films, and this one nails it! Possibly my favorite performances from The Rock and Jack Black. Really the entire cast takes it up a notch for this one. (Still get a tad bit distracted by Karen Gillian) Really a return to the magic of the first.

Yes, THAT Christmas Vacation… shout-out to AMC for bringing this classic back to the big screen to spice up the holiday movie-going season. So many iconic lines, so many iconic bits… a true holiday classic. More of a PSA than a review… check your local listings to catch this legendary film on the big screen!

Homegirl’s still got it! The same rapid fire comedic brilliance you’ve come to expect from one of the best in the biz is back in full force. Marriage has not killed the comedic skill, only honed it further. Her material on weddings and dating as we grow older has me in tears! The pay-offs of working my way through my watchlist continue!
